Abstract
This study aimed to determine the economic effect of strain, different housing system and season on performance and profitability of commercial broiler under Egyptian condition. The economic and productive data were gathered for 323 growing cycles from commercial broiler farms. The collected data was in period from winter 2018 to summer 2020.Analysis by Multivariate, General linear model (GLM) for analysis of variance using SPSS/PC+ "version 25". Our results elucidated that there were a significant effect (P<0.05) of strain, housing types and season on total feed intake, total feed cost, total cost, net profit, European Broiler Index (EBI) and European Performance Efficiency Factor (EPEF), where the higher recorded value was in closed housing system than opened housing system, in addition winter season ranked the higher value than summer season in these previous parameters. Cobb broiler strain accomplished the larger return, EPEF and EBI in closed housing system and winter season, but Ross and Arbor Acres broiler strain obtained the better value of EPEF, EBI, net profit in summer season, we recommended that more profitability achieved when raising Cobb strain during winter and raising Ross and Arbor Acres during summer season.
Key words: Economic impact, strain, housing Systems, season, commercial broiler performance, net return.

Key words: Key words: Economic impact, strain, housing Systems, season, commercial broiler performance, net return.
